If you're buying a condo ALWAYS GET A HOME INSPECTION! It doesn't matter if its a brand new place with a warranty or a 100 year old Loft Conversion. A home inspection will give you a clear picture of whats happening with the building and will be the cheapest insurance against buying a money pit you can buy.
